Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox was initially musician in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group shortly before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. She sang lead in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in the year 1992. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a singer-songwriter. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit tracks, such as Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album released in 1995, has the versions of a few of her biggest hits, such as No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). The six solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of hits.
